Job summary

Grande Dunes Ocean Club in Myrtle Beach, SC, is hiring a full-time Line Cook to join a fast-paced hospitality team.

You will prepare a variety of dishes for restaurant and banquet operations, maintain sanitation, and assist with inventory, while learning and growing within Troon’s global hospitality organization. Banquet experience is a plus; Food Safety training is preferred; strong English communication required; physical demands include standing and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Experience as a line cook; banquet experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepares sufficient quantities of food in accordance with the production plan or forecast needs.
• Utilizes whole food products, eliminating waste.
• Maintains overall cleanliness and sanitation standards in assigned areas.
• Alerts the Chef or supervisor to any equipment breakdowns, food overages, or shortages in a timely manner.
• Requisitions inventory and receives supplies as necessary for daily production.
• Ensures proper storage of food items; wraps, dates, and rotates food items.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.
