Job summary

American Golf Corporation needs a qualified Cook to prepare high-quality dishes following established recipes and food safety standards. You will support daily kitchen operations, maintain a clean workstation, and contribute to a memorable dining experience for guests and members.

You will set up stations, handle ingredients, monitor quality, and work collaboratively with culinary and front-of-house colleagues in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous restaurant or kitchen experience preferred.
• Food Handler Certification or ability to obtain one.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and sanitation.
• Ability to follow standardized recipes and maintain quality.
• Strong organizational skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Set up and stock food preparation stations with ingredients and supplies.
• Prepare meats, seafood, vegetables, sauces, and other items for service.
• Operate grill, sauté, roast, fry, bake, or other cooking methods.
• Plate and garnish food to meet presentation standards.
• Monitor food quality, taste, appearance, and temperature.
• Label, date, rotate, and store food following FIFO and safety rules.
• Maintain a clean, organized and sanitized workstation throughout shift.
• Follow all recipes, procedures, and health department regulations.
• Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing deliveries as needed.
• Collaborate with culinary and front-of-house teams and perform other duties.
