Job summary

Westminster St. Augustine, part of Westminster Communities of Florida, is seeking a Line Cook to join our Culinary Team in a full-time role from 11am to 8pm, some weekends, in Saint Augustine.

You will prepare quality meals for residents, guests and staff using high-quality ingredients and standardized recipes. Requirements include 3+ years of culinary experience, basic knife skills, and a Florida SafeStaff certification or ability to obtain it within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of culinary experience in a high-volume, full-service dining environment.
• Proficiency with basic food preparation methods and quantity cooking.
• Florida SafeStaff certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Setup work stations according to established guidelines.
• Prepare all food items in accordance with standardized recipes in a sanitary and timely manner.
• Distribute prepared food to all service areas accurately and consistently.
• Restock items as needed throughout the shift.
• Clean and maintain station by practicing safety, sanitation and organization.
• Assist with cleaning, sanitation and organization of the kitchen and equipment.
