Westminster St. Augustine, part of Westminster Communities of Florida, is seeking a Cook's Assistant I for full-time work in a senior living setting. You will assist with salads, sandwiches, pantry items, and may help with hot items under direction from a cook.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent and Florida SafeStaff certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Experience: minimum 12 months in a full-service culinary setting.
• Requirements: able to read/write English, perform basic math, and handle knives safely.

Responsibilities

• Follow standardized recipes for hot and cold food preparation under supervision.
• Distribute prepared food accurately and restock items as needed during shift.
• Maintain station cleanliness, safety, and sanitation while working.
• Assist with kitchen organization and cleaning of equipment as required.
