Job summary

Westminster Woods on Julington Creek in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a full-time Cook to prepare quality meals for residents, guests and staff. The Cook will follow standardized recipes, maintain sanitation, and work with a team in a fast-paced, high-volume dining environment.

Required is a High School Diploma or equivalent, Florida Safe Staff certification or ability to obtain within 90 days, and at least 3 years of culinary experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Florida Safe Staff certification or ability to obtain within 90 days
• Ability to read, write and speak English and follow directions
• 3+ years culinary experience in high-volume dining
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic math

Responsibilities

• Setup workstations and prepare items according to recipes
• Distribute and present food accurately and restock as needed
• Cleans and maintains station, ensuring safety and sanitation
• Assist with cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment
