Job summary

Westminster Communities of Florida's Westminster St. Augustine campus in the World Golf Village is seeking a full-time Chef to lead the dining program for residents, team members and guests.

The role reports to the Director of Dining Services and focuses on quality, safety and cost-effective food production across all kitchen stations. The ideal candidate has a 2-year culinary degree (or related college degree), Serv Safe certification within 90 days of hire, and at least 6 years of high-volume

Qualifications

• 2-year culinary degree or college degree in related subject.
• Serv Safe certification required or obtainable within 90 days from date of hire.
• 6 years of high-volume hospitality and customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete kitchen operations across all food production areas.
• Oversee purchasing of food, supplies and equipment within budget.
• Supervise meal preparation, presentation and recipe accuracy.
• Perform food inventory and place orders as required.
• Ensure training, safety and discipline standards are met.
• Vaccination and sanitation standards compliance in kitchen operations.
