Firebirds Wood Fired Grill is seeking a Line Cook to join our fast-paced Back of House team in Wisconsin. You’ll help prepare and plate dishes with focus on speed, quality, and presentation while maintaining sanitary and safe work practices.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation.
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Ability to stand for 8 hours or more a day.
• Ability to lift items up to 35 pounds.
• Must have a guest-oriented mindset.
• Maintain positive working relationships with team members.
• Attention to cleanliness and safety procedures.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• 18+ age requirements for BOH positions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items with speed, accuracy, and consistency.
• Set up, stock, and maintain your assigned station throughout service.
• Read and execute tickets accurately while meeting timing standards.
• Plate dishes with consistency and attention to presentation.
• Monitor food temperatures and follow all food safety standards.
• Properly label, store, and rotate all food items.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Support teammates and communicate effectively during service.
• Complete closing and cleaning checklists as assigned.
