J. Alexander's Restaurant in Chandler, AZ is seeking a LINE COOK to join our fast-paced, scratch kitchen. You will work under high standards for food presentation and execution while maintaining a clean station.

This position offers flexible hours (part-time or full-time) with a comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities to grow within a values-driven hospitality group. You’ll coordinate with expeditor and teammates to manage tickets, ensure proper temps, sanitation, and opening/closing

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to operate kitchen equipment.
• 1 year of kitchen/culinary/chef experience preferred but not required.
• Experience with kitchen equipment including knives, slicer, mixer, stoves and ovens.

Responsibilities

• Operate a fast-paced, scratch kitchen with high standards for food presentation and execution.
• Maintain a clean, organized station and proper sanitation protocols.
• Open and closing duties; coordinate with expo, assembler, and management to ensure timely tickets.
