Main Event in Taylor, MI is seeking a Line Cook who is passionate about good ingredients, safety, and guest satisfaction. You will follow prep and execution standards, work with the service team to ensure timely delivery, and maintain a clean, organized station throughout each shift.

The role requires 6 months of line cook experience, a Food Handlers Certification if required, and the ability to work days, nights and weekends in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of Line Cook/Prep Cook experience.
• Guest-focused mindset and teamwork required.
• 18+ years old; Food Handlers Certification, as required.
• Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail.
• Effective communication with Management, Team Members, and Guests.
• Availability to workdays, nights and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Upholding cleanliness and safety standards.
• Prepping and cooking all menu items according to recipes and standards.
• Working with the Service Team to ensure timely delivery of food.
• Adhering to health department procedures.
• Safely operating kitchen equipment.
• Maintaining a clean and stocked station before and after each shift.
• Performing opening, mid-day or closing duties.
