Job summary

True Food Kitchen is seeking a skilled Line Cook for a fast-paced kitchen environment. You will prep, cook, and plate dishes across stations such as Pantry, Pastry, Pizza, Wok, Sauté, or Grill, with experience across stations considered a plus.

6+ months in a high-volume restaurant is preferred, along with exceptional knife skills and a passion for quality presentation. Flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays is required; teamwork and speed are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 6+ months in a high-volume restaurant (preferred).
• Exceptional knife skills and recipe execution.
• Passion for great food and quality presentation.
• Flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Teamwork, speed, and organization under pressure.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, bend, reach and twist.

Responsibilities

• Prepare starters, entrées, pizzas, and more.
• Follow portions, recipes, and quality standards.
• Keep your station clean, stocked, and organized.
• Assist with prep, opening/closing, and smooth operations.
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills and other kitchen equipment.
• Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients.
• Wash and disinfect kitchen, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
