Job summary

Torsap Thai Kitchen in Temperance, MI is seeking a reliable line cook to join our fast-paced kitchen team. You will prep, cook, and assemble items to our established recipes, manage your station, and help ensure timely ticket times while upholding food safety standards.

Ideal candidates have prior line cook experience in a busy setting, excellent multitasking and teamwork skills, and the stamina to stand for long periods. Availability to work evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a professional kitchen or line cook role is preferred.
• Ability to handle high-volume rushes and multiple orders.
• Knowledge of safe food handling and correct cooking temperatures (ServSafe certification is a plus).
• Punctuality, reliability, and teamwork are essential.
• Physical ability to stand long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook line items per established recipes and standards.
• Set up, stock, and maintain your station before and during service.
• Cook and assemble items quickly during peak hours with quality control.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary workspace and proper food storage.
• Communicate effectively with FOH and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
