Job summary

Legends is seeking a Cook 1 to support fast-paced culinary operations, ensuring safe food preparation, execution, and delivery to staff. Under the Executive Culinary Team, you will help maintain quality and efficiency across all kitchen tasks and service periods.

You will receive and store deliveries, follow FIFO, label items, rotate stock, and keep a clean, sanitary kitchen. A strong work ethic, punctuality, teamwork, and basic English are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; culinary degree preferred.
• 2–4 years in fast-paced restaurant, caterer or relevant food service.
• Punctual and dependable; able to prioritize.
• Able to read and follow recipes, prep lists, menus and signage.
• Basic English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assist in receiving and storing all food deliveries.
• Follows FIFO for receiving and storing food.
• Label and date all food items upon receiving to enforce FIFO.
• Rotate product on storage shelves.
• Notify manager or Chef of any expired product.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary and orderly kitchen.
• Work as a team with fellow associates and other service departments.
• Able to work flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
