Legends in Sacramento is seeking a Cook 1 to support culinary operations under the Executive Culinary Team. Responsibilities include receiving deliveries, FIFO, prep, and ensuring safe, high-quality food service for staff and guests.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma, 2–4 years in a fast-paced food service, and strong teamwork, punctuality, and basic English. Must be able to stand long hours and work flexible schedules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, culinary degree preferred.
• 2–4 years in a fast-paced restaurant, caterer or similar.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly.
• Punctual, dependable and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist in receiving and storing all food deliveries.
• Follow FIFO for receiving and storing food.
• Label and date items to enforce FIFO.
• Maintain clean and sanitary kitchen areas.
• Work as a team with staff and other departments.
• Be flexible with schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
