Job summary

Legends Hospitality, LLC is seeking a Cook 1 to handle food preparation, execution, and safe delivery to customer-facing staff. Under the guidance of the Executive Culinary Team, you will support all kitchen operations and follow recipes and menus.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, 2–4 years in a fast-paced food service, strong sanitation and teamwork, and the ability to stand long hours and lift up to 30 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; culinary arts degree/certificate preferred.
• 2–4 years in a fast-paced restaurant or similar setting.
• Able to read recipes, prep lists, menus, and signage.
• Strong sanitation knowledge and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in receiving and storing all food deliveries using FIFO.
• Label and date items; ensure proper rotation on storage shelves.
• Maintain walk-in coolers, dry storage, and all work areas.
• Work as a team with other departments and uphold kitchen cleanliness.
• Be aware of venue layout and direct staff/guests as needed.
• Flexible schedule to meet service demand including nights/weekends.
