Job summary

Legends Hospitality, LLC is seeking a Cook 2 to prepare, execute, and deliver high-quality food in a fast-paced kitchen environment. You will ensure items are cooked to specification and served promptly to front-of-house staff for service.

You will uphold food safety standards, maintain cleanliness, and work collaboratively with the team, including FIFO practices and inventory checks. This role may require nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; culinary school or culinary certificate preferred.
• 2–4 years experience as a Line Cook in a high-volume restaurant, event venue, or similar setting.
• ServSafe or other food handler certification required.

Responsibilities

• Cook and plate menu items to recipe specifications in a timely and consistent manner.
• Ensure all food is handled, prepared, and stored in accordance with food safety guidelines.
• Set up and break down assigned station, prep ingredients, stock supplies, and maintain cleanliness.
• Follow FIFO protocols when handling and storing food products.
• Ensure items are labeled and dated properly upon receiving and during storage.
• Work with chefs, sous chefs, and FOH staff to ensure accurate and prompt deliveries.
• Remain flexible with scheduling, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
