Job summary

HHM Hotels is seeking a Line Cook to prepare food items in accordance with production requirements and established guest service and sustainability standards.

Your focus includes following recipes, managing prep, dating and rotating stock, checking pars, controlling waste, maintaining equipment, and adhering to safety standards; requires a high school diploma and 2 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items in accordance with recipes and production standards.
• Begin prep for items prepared ahead of time and avoid over-preparation.
• Date and rotate items; keep perishables properly stored.
• Check pars for shift use; determine prep, freezer pull and line setup.
• Return unused items to storage with proper dating.
• Assist in correcting food cost, waste and usage per standards.
• Operate, maintain and clean kitchen tools and equipment.
• Follow safety standards: MSDS and OSHA; wear protective gear.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
