Job summary

HHM Hotels is seeking a Prep Cook to prepare food items per production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe, sanitary work environment. This role involves supporting home stations, monitoring inventory, and ensuring accurate labeling and storage of all food products.

Key responsibilities include maintaining menu knowledge, guarding against waste, and adhering to safety, sanitation, and PPE guidelines throughout each shift.

Qualifications

• Prior culinary training and/or prep cook experience.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize key assignments.
• Strong knife skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food for home stations and assist in monitoring depletion and replenishment.
• Manage addition of food, supplies, and service to high-volume stations.
• Perform routine quality control inspections of all food products and notify supervisor of issues.
• Maintain full menu knowledge including specials and events.
• Keep the kitchen and service areas clean and organized; maintain equipment.
• Label and store all food products per government and company guidelines.
• Restock for the following shift at shift end.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and PPE standards.
