Job summary

Firebirds Wood Fired Grill is seeking a Line Cook to join our Back of House team in Cranberry Township. You’ll help prepare and cook menu items with speed, accuracy, and presentation, while setting up and stocking your station for every shift.

You’ll work in a fast-paced, team-driven environment that emphasizes quality, timing, and guest experiences, with opportunities for growth, extensive training, and flexible schedules.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Ability to work on your feet for 8 hours or more a day.
• Ability to bend, kneel, and lift items up to 35 pounds.
• Patient and guest-oriented mindset.
• Maintain positive working relationships with team members.
• Attention to cleanliness and safety procedures.
• Reliable transportation.
• 18+ age requirements for BOH positions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items with speed, accuracy, and consistency.
• Set up, stock, and maintain your assigned station throughout service.
• Read and execute tickets accurately while meeting timing standards.
• Plate dishes with consistency and attention to presentation.
• Monitor food temperatures and follow all food safety standards.
• Label, store, and rotate all food items.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Support teammates and communicate effectively during service.
• Complete closing and cleaning checklists as assigned.
