Job summary

Firebirds Wood Fired Grill in Pennsylvania is seeking a Line Cook to join our Back of House team. You will prepare and cook menu items with speed, accuracy, and consistency, while maintaining quality and presentation.

You will set up and stock your station, read tickets, monitor temperatures, follow safety standards, and collaborate with teammates to deliver memorable guest experiences. No prior restaurant experience required; training is provided and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Ability to work on your feet for 8 hours or more a day.
• Ability to rise to responsibilities with a guest-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items with speed, accuracy, and consistency.
• Set up, stock, and maintain your assigned station throughout service.
• Read and execute tickets accurately while meeting timing standards.
• Plate dishes with consistency and attention to presentation.
• Monitor food temperatures and follow all food safety standards.
• Properly label, store, and rotate all food items.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Support teammates and communicate effectively during service.
• Complete closing and cleaning checklists as assigned.
