Job summary

Out West Restaurant Group seeks motivated team members for Line Cook positions in California. This non-exempt role pays $16.90–$18.00 hourly, with eligibility for ACA-compliant health benefits and paid sick leave, plus a paid day off after 90 days.

You will prep diverse menu items, maintain a clean, safe kitchen, and work as part of a supportive Outbacker team to deliver great guest experiences. Flexibility in schedule, meals discounts, and growth opportunities are offered; California-specific

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, carry or move up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to work in hot and cold environments.
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
• Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting, and stooping.
• Manual dexterity for glassware, utensils and systems.
• Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• For CA-based positions: Responsible Beverage Service Certifications within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the preparation of food items with speed and accuracy.
• Line Cook positions in Salad, Fry, Sauté, Grill and Make Up; Kitchen Prep Cooks.
• Maintain equipment and cleanliness of kitchen surroundings.
• Work as a team to achieve standards in prep and delivery of food items.
• Prepare food with proper safety equipment, tools, and recipe standards.
• Restock kitchen and cook line as needed.
• Commit to food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards.
• Demonstrate teamwork by supporting all restaurant areas as needed.
