Job summary

Pura Vida Miami Llc is seeking a kitchen team member to prepare and cook menu items in a fast-paced setting. You will stock stations, maintain cleanliness, and collaborate with the BOH team to ensure timely service and high-quality food.

The role requires 1–2 years in food production or a busy restaurant, a valid Food Handler certification, and strong time-management and teamwork skills. Physical stamina for standing and lifting up to 50 pounds is necessary.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a food production facility or fast-paced restaurant.
• Local/municipal Food Handler certification acquired at applicant’s expense.
• Strong understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
• Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies.
• Ensure timely food preparation and presentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation in line with health regulations.
• Collaborate with BOH team for smooth operations.
• Assist in receiving deliveries and proper storage.
• Cross-train across roles to support growth and team success.
