Job summary

Dave & Buster’s is seeking a Line Cook to prepare menu items to spec and maintain safety standards in a fast-paced kitchen. You’ll follow recipes, prep, and work with the team to deliver high-quality dishes for guests.

Qualifying candidates have at least 6 months of Line Cook or Prep Cook experience, are 18+ with Food Handlers certification, and can thrive under pressure while delivering memorable guest experiences. Flexible shifts include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 6 months of Line Cook and/or Prep Cook experience.
• 18+ years of age; Food Handlers Certification, as required.
• Comply with the company uniform standards.
• Always be ready to create a memorable guest experience.
• Teamwork is a must (Remember, teamwork makes the dream work!).
• Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
• Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests.
• Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays (subject to business needs).

Responsibilities

• Upholding cleanliness and safety standards.
• Prepping and cooking all menu items according to recipes standards.
• Helping minimize food waste by creating proper portions, staying vigilant for ticket errors, and communicating with expo.
• Partnering with the service team to ensure food is accurate, delivered fresh and in a timely manner.
• Adhering to all company and health department food safety procedures.
• Properly and safely operating kitchen equipment.
• Maintaining a clean and stocked station before, during and after each shift.
• Performing opening, mid-day or closing duties as assigned.
