Northern Waters Casino Resort is seeking a kitchen helper to assist with food preparation, stock stations, and cook a variety of menu items following SOPs and recipes. The role emphasizes quality, proper portioning, and clean, safe work practices in a fast-paced environment.

Employees must maintain professionalism, communicate clearly, and be flexible with nights, weekends, and holidays; ServSafe certification is required or will be obtained within 90 days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic computer skills for paperwork.
• Minimum 6 months of kitchen prep or related hospitality experience.
• ServSafe certification or able to certify within 90 days of employment.
• Must pass background checks and pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other items per SOPs and recipes.
• Assist with stocking cooking stations, buffet, and maintaining cleanliness.
• Produce high quality dishes and ensure proper portion sizes.
• Follow plate presentation standards and garnish setup for all dishes.
• Maintain a sanitary workstation and adhere to safety guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with team and management, including during shifts and trainings.
