Job summary

WOB Bar & Kitchen in Florida is seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare food according to our recipes and standards and maintain a clean, efficient workstation. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of kitchen experience, strong teamwork, and attention to food safety.

A food handler certificate within 30 days is preferred or required by state law. This hourly role reports to the Kitchen Manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in varied kitchen positions including food preparation, line cook and fry cook.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high energy.
• Clear and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food and execute recipes according to standards.
• Follow prep lists and kitchen management directions.
• Label and stock ingredients for easy access.
• Set up workstations with ingredients and equipment.
• Store all food items properly and maintain sanitation.
• Follow all food safety guidelines and sanitation procedures.
• Work efficiently as part of a team to ensure timely dish preparation.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area.
• Communicate with kitchen and front-of-house staff.
