Firebirds Wood Fired Grill in Florida is seeking a Line Cook to join our Back of House team. You’ll prepare and cook menu items, set up your station, read tickets, plate with care, and ensure food safety throughout service.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation practices is required.
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Able to stand for 8 hours or more and lift up to 35 pounds.
• Guest-oriented mindset with positive relationships in a team.
• Attention to cleanliness and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items with speed, accuracy, and consistency.
• Set up, stock, and maintain your assigned station throughout service.
• Read and execute tickets accurately while meeting timing standards.
• Plate dishes with consistency and presentation.
• Monitor food temperatures and follow all food safety standards.
• Label, store, and rotate all food items.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Support teammates and communicate effectively during service.
• Complete closing and cleaning checklists as assigned.
