Job summary

WOB Bar & Kitchen in Orlando, FL is seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare food to our recipes, maintain cleanliness, and work with a sense of urgency to ensure timely service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of kitchen experience in roles such as prep, line cook or fry cook.
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear and effective communication with team members and supervisors.
• Food Handler Certification within 30 days of hire, as required by state/local law.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food according to WOB recipes, portions, cooking and serving standards.
• Follow the prep list created by Kitchen management.
• Label and stock ingredients to keep station organized and accessible.
• Set up workstations with needed ingredients and equipment.
• Ensure all food and station items are stored properly.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Work efficiently as part of a team to ensure timely dish preparation.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff.
