PENN Entertainment in Louisiana's Harvey location is seeking a Line Cook to join our busy kitchen team. You will read orders, prepare items per recipes, and maintain sanitary, high-quality standards to ensure guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience as a Line Cook.
• Basic reading and math skills for recipes and measurements.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Read food orders from computer printouts and prepare items according to established recipes.
• Prepare all food items according to standard recipes and menu to ensure consistency.
• Wash, slice, peel, and cut various foods to prepare for cooking or serving.
• Observe and test foods to determine if they are cooked sufficiently.
• Coordinate with and communicate orders to dining room staff.
• Completes opening, closing and other side duties as assigned by supervisors.
