Job summary

First Hospitality, Inc. is seeking a Line Cook to join our Dayton, Ohio culinary team. You will follow recipes, uphold food safety, and help deliver high-quality dishes for guests across our hotel properties.

Under supervision of the Executive Chef and Sous Chef, you will prep, cook, and plate items, manage time to meet service pace, and keep a clean, organized workstation. On-site training and DAY 1 benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in the primary language used in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food of consistently high quality by following recipes and instructions.
• Follow all food safety standards by date marking, rotation, and temperature control.
• Initiate preparation based on anticipated needs and manage time to meet service pace.
• Properly store all food products during and after use.
• Assist in food control standards to reduce waste.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment such as fryers, stoves, ovens, mixers, and more.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the station and equipment.
• Collaborate with team members and follow supervisor guidance.
