Job summary

First Hospitality, Inc. in Indianapolis is seeking a Line Cook to work evening shifts. You will support the Executive Chef and Sous Chef, preparing and plating dishes to meet quality and presentation standards.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of culinary experience.
• High School diploma or equivalency education certificate.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food of consistently high quality by following recipes and standards.
• Follow all food safety standards with date marking, rotation, and proper temperature and time holding.
• Initiate preparation of food items based on anticipated needs.
• Properly store all food products during and after use.
• Assist in food control standards to reduce waste.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as fryers, broilers, stoves, ovens and more.
• Clean and maintain all equipment and the working environment.
• Contribute as a team member and uphold hotel brand professionalism.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
