Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts is seeking a kitchen team member to prepare food items according to production requirements and quality standards in a fast-paced hotel setting. You will rotate perishables, monitor temperatures, assist in controlling costs, and operate a range of equipment while maintaining a safe, sanitary work environment and supporting servers and other staff.

This role requires reliability, teamwork, and the ability to communicate clearly in English, with a readiness to pitch in

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare food of consistent quality following recipes and standards.
• Initiate prep for items in advance without over-preparing.
• Date and rotate perishables, maintain proper temperatures.
• Check pars, plan preparation, and assist in keeping buffet stocked.
• Return unused food to storage with proper labeling and dating.
• Help control food costs and reduce waste per standards.
• Operate and clean equipment (fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, etc.).
• Adhere to attendance requirements and regular shift availability.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
