Job summary

Tatte Bakery & Café is seeking Line Cooks who are passionate about food and hospitality. You will work in our back-of-house team to prepare dishes from scratch, following standardized recipes and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced kitchen.

• Willingness to work varied shifts including mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Execute cooking techniques under the direction of the Sous Chef and Chef.
• Prepare and cook food according to standardized recipes, quality, and presentation standards.
• Portion, chop, weigh, measure, and prepare ingredients.
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills, fryers, microwaves, and other kitchen equipment safely.
• Ensure food is cooked and held at proper temperatures.
• Set up and break down workstations before and after each shift.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen workstations, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
• Follow all company food safety and workplace safety standards.
• Maintain quality and consistency throughout food preparation.
• Assist chefs with food preparation and other kitchen tasks as needed.
