Job summary

Tatte Bakery & Cafe is hiring Line Cooks in Boston, MA. You will join our Back of House to prepare dishes from scratch, uphold quality standards, and follow standardized recipes with strong hospitality.

Responsibilities include executing techniques under supervision, cooking to spec, portioning ingredients, and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen. Flexibility for mornings, weekends, and holidays is valued.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Execute cooking techniques under the direction of the Sous Chef and Chef.
• Prepare and cook food according to standardized recipes, quality, and presentation standards.
• Portion, chop, weigh, measure, and prepare ingredients.
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills, fryers, microwaves, and other kitchen equipment safely.
• Ensure food is cooked and held at proper temperatures.
• Set up and break down workstations before and after each shift.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen workstations, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
• Follow all company food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Maintain quality and consistency throughout food preparation.
• Assist chefs with food preparation and other kitchen tasks as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
