Job summary

Tatte Bakery & Café in Cambridge, MA is seeking Line Cooks to join our Back of House team. You will prepare dishes from scratch, follow standardized recipes, and uphold high standards of cleanliness and food safety while delivering genuine hospitality.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Execute techniques under the direction of the Sous Chef and Café Head Chef.
• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality, and presentation standards.
• Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, weighing, measuring, and mixing.
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, fryers, and other kitchen equipment.
• Ensure food and equipment are maintained at proper temperatures.
• Set up and break down workstations and prepare for upcoming shifts.
• Wash and sanitize kitchen tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
• Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
• Assist chefs with food preparation and other culinary tasks as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
