Job summary

Tatte Bakery & Café in the United States is seeking Line Cooks to prepare dishes per our recipes, maintain safety, cleanliness, and consistency across shifts, and support the kitchen team with passion and pride.

You will work under the Sous Chef and Executive Chef, handling ovens, stoves, grills, and prep stations, ensuring proper temperatures and quality. Flexible shifts include weekends and holidays; prior fast-paced kitchen experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Prior experience in a fast paced kitchen preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and stand for 8+ hours.

Responsibilities

• Execute techniques under the direction of the Sous Chef and Executive Chef.
• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality, and presentation standards.
• Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients.
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, fryers, and other kitchen equipment.
• Ensure the correctness of the temperature of appliances and food.
• Set up and break down workstations and prepare for upcoming shifts.
• Wash and disinfect kitchen surfaces, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
• Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
• Assist chefs in preparing food and supporting additional culinary tasks as needed.
• Other related assignments as necessary
