Job summary

Tatte Bakery & Café in Boston, MA is seeking a full-time line cook who is passionate about food and hospitality. The Back of House team prepares dishes from scratch following standardized recipes and food safety standards.

Responsibilities include executing techniques under the Sous Chef, preparing to specs, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring proper temperatures. Flexible shifts and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Execute cooking techniques under the direction of the Sous Chef and Chef.
• Prepare and cook food according to standardized recipes, quality, and presentation standards.
• Portion, chop, weigh, measure, and prepare ingredients.
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills, fryers, microwaves, and other kitchen equipment safely.
• Ensure food is cooked and held at proper temperatures.
• Set up and break down workstations before and after each shift.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen workstations, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
• Follow all company food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Maintain quality and consistency throughout food preparation.
• Assist chefs with food preparation and other kitchen tasks as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
