Job summary

Tatte Bakery & Cafe is seeking Catering Kitchen Line Cooks to craft dishes from scratch with a commitment to quality and hospitality. You’ll work in a fast-paced kitchen, maintain sanitation standards, and support the team to deliver exceptional food and service.

Responsibilities include prepping ingredients, cooking to recipes, and ensuring food safety. Competitive hourly pay and full benefits are offered, with opportunities for growth within our energetic, design-forward culture.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Flexible schedules including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Execute techniques under the direction of the Catering General Manager.
• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality, and presentation standards.
• Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients.
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, fryers, and other kitchen equipment.
• Ensure the proper temperature of food and equipment.
• Set up and break down workstations and prepare for upcoming shifts.
• Wash and disinfect kitchen surfaces, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
• Assist chefs in preparing food and attending to culinary tasks as needed.
• Other duties as assigned
