Job summary

Colonial Golf & Tennis Club in Harrisburg is seeking a part-time Line Cook to prepare a variety of meats, poultry, vegetables, and other items using grills, fryers, and kitchen equipment across outlets including restaurant and banquet operations.

The ideal candidate has 6–12 months kitchen or line cook experience, or a relevant certificate, and a reliable, team-oriented attitude with the ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 6–12 months related kitchen or line cook experience/training, or
• Certificate from college, technical school or accredited facility, or
• Equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

• Completes opening and closing checklists during shifts.
• Prepare food for restaurant, banquet operations, snack bar and carts.
• Follow standard portion sizes, cooking methods and kitchen rules.
• Ensure proper storage of food items.
• Assist with stocking and alert kitchen managers when ingredients are low
