Job summary

The Brewhouse Inn & Suites is seeking a Line Cook to prepare and cook all menu items for the Corporate HQ outlet, Banquets/Catering, and Executive Lounge, following standardized recipes and maintaining top quality. Ensure kitchen safety, sanitation, and waste control while delivering an appealing product in Milwaukee.

Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, proper attire, adherence to brand standards, and efficient operation during service hours.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Food Handlers Certification required to meet state requirements.
• Must convey information and ideas clearly.
• Must evaluate and select among actions quickly and accurately.
• Must work well in stressful, high pressure situations.
• Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and associates in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Maintain regular attendance per Aimbridge Hospitality standards.
• Wear proper uniform and name tag as per brand standards.
• Comply with Aimbridge Hospitality standards to ensure safe, efficient operations.
• Meet certification requirements (Food Handlers, Safety, etc.).
• Know menus and required preparation per hotel standards.
• Keep storage areas clean and organized.
• Prepare food and stations before opening to serve guests promptly.
• Prepare and display buffet items per standards.
• Maintain kitchen line during service to ensure high quality and efficiency.
• Prepare foods for banquets and associate cafeteria as directed.
• Follow Aimbridge Hospitality standard recipes for all dishes.
• Assist in storage and rotation of food items as needed.
• Attend meetings and perform other duties as requested.
