PERG online in Florida is seeking a Line Cook 1 to prepare and store all prep items according to hotel specifications. You will independently cook items on an outlet line and ensure quality, equipment safety, and adherence to health standards in a fast-paced kitchen.

Qualifications

• Must have 3 years of culinary experience.
• Proficient in knife skills and basic food safety.
• Able to operate outlet hot/cold line under supervision.
• Maintain clean, sanitary walk-in and prep areas.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Familiar with weights and measures to follow recipes.

Responsabilités

• Independently prepares all food items per supervisor and company specs.
• Operate outlet hot/cold line and meet deadlines for each meal period.
• Identify and inspect all food products for quality.
• Follow storage procedures when handling items in/near walk-in.
• Safely use all culinary equipment.
• Keep walk-in, prep area and equipment compliant with Health Dept/EcoSure.
• Attend department meetings and required training.
• Complete other duties as assigned by management.
