PERG online is seeking a Line Cook 2 to join our kitchen team in Florida. The role focuses on timely preparation according to menu specs and coordination with all kitchen staff.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of culinary experience in a hotel or restaurant, strong teamwork and communication, and the ability to work calmly in a high-pressure environment. Culinary training is preferred. Must be able to lift, stand, and handle kitchen equipment safely.

Qualifications

• Two years of culinary experience in a hotel or restaurant kitchen.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and collaborate with others.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Basic math skills including weights and measures.
• Able to follow recipes and use culinary tools safely.

Responsabilités

• Efficiently prepare all food items as directed by supervisor and company specs.
• Demonstrate knowledge of culinary fundamentals and techniques.
• Work on outlet hot/cold line and execute items within timelines.
• Organize prep sheets and station guides to prep for service.
• Safely use all culinary equipment and maintain safety standards.
• Produce plate presentations per specifications and maintain quality.
• Communicate effectively with team members.
• Maintain a positive, professional attitude in stress.
• Attend monthly department meetings and trainings.
• Complete other duties as assigned by management.
• Work on restaurant Line as required.
• Basic knowledge of knife skills and vegetable cuts.
