Job summary

Hilton Fairfax in Fairfax, VA is seeking an experienced Line Cook to join our team. The role involves cooking, prepping, plating, and ensuring the quality and safety of all menu items. You will learn and execute all hotel and restaurant recipes and menus while maintaining high standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to accurately learn and execute all hotel and restaurant recipes and menus.
• Must be able to effectively use all kitchen equipment, i.e., stoves, ovens, broilers, slicers, steamers, kettles, etc.
• Basic knowledge of the English language sufficient to communicate with team members and follow recipes.
• Sufficient manual dexterity of hand in order to use all kitchen equipment, i.e., knives, spoons, spatulas, tongs, slicers, etc.

Responsibilities

Job Details: Job Location: 631 - Fairfax Hilton - Fairfax, VA 22033, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $20.00 - $24.00 Hourly, The Hilton Fairfaxis located in Northern Virginia's tree-lined Fair Lakes neighborhood and no more than a half-mile from various retail and dining. The hotel offers 316 well-appointed guest rooms with 9 bespoke meeting rooms and over 10,000 square feet of event spaces. Located in the hotel lobby, Nova Grill serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner offeringtraditional comfort dishes blending Virginia and Mid-Atlantic influences.
