Job description

We are currently hiring experienced line cooks to work under the direction of the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs to prepare menu items. Candidates must have knowledge of vegetable and protein preparation as well as seafood and sauce making skills. They must assist with setting up and stocking kitchen stations, plating food based on chefs' guidance, and working with FOH staff to ensure orders are complete and on time. They are responsible for kitchen cleanliness, including but not limited to mopping floors and cleaning kitchen equipment. Candidates should also have great organization and listening skills. Must be able to take direction, have attention to detail, and the ability to take initiative with a team-oriented mindset. Nights and weekends required. Valid California Food Handlers Card also required. Come see us on the waterfront. Voted best Tavern and Bar in Solano County 2014, 2015, and 2016, as well as Best Taproom of 2017 and 2018.

Job Duties:
  1. Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner.
  2. Follow recipes and presentation specifications.
  3. Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
  4. Clean and maintain station, practicing good safety and sanitation.
  5. Assist with cleaning and organizing kitchen and equipment.
  6. Restock items as needed throughout the shift.
  7. Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes.

  • 10 AM
