Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, real estate, business, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in LIHTC, affordable housing, tax-credit syndication, real estate asset management, or related field.
• Experience reviewing LIHTC documentation including cost certifications, Form 8609s, state eligibility documentation, tax-credit projections, construction draws, and investor reporting.
• Strong understanding of real estate financial statements, property-level performance, and affordable-housing program requirements.
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and meet deadlines.
• Proactive, solutions-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee LIHTC portfolio performance, compliance, and financial health throughout asset lifecycles.
• Review construction draws, capital requests, project updates, and supporting documentation during lease-up.
• Serve as primary contact for developers, general partners, property management, and external partners.
• Review tenant files and LIHTC documentation based on risk assessments.
• Coordinate with internal teams to provide portfolio data for reporting requirements.
• Analyze lease-up progress, timelines, and projected placed-in-service dates for tax-credit projections.
• Review cost certifications, Form 8609 documentation, state eligibility statements, and LIHTC deliverables.
• Evaluate operating results, budgets vs. actuals, liquidity, and performance indicators.
• Prepare investor reporting including quarterly construction and lease-up memorandums and project summaries.
