Job summary

Fannie Mae is seeking a LIHTC Asset Manager to oversee post-closing management of an equity portfolio within the Multifamily division. You will serve as a relationship manager with syndicator partners across onboarding, development, construction, and operation of LIHTC investments.

You will analyze investment reporting, assess risks, and develop corrective strategies when issues arise, while transitioning assets into the portfolio and addressing modifications during the investment term.

Qualifications

• 4 years related experience.
• Knowledge of Multifamily market, LIHTC Asset Management and affordable housing finance.
• Experience with commercial multifamily real estate markets and LIHTC assets.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage relationships across multiple partners and business units.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage relationships with syndicator partners in LIHTC investments.
• Analyze portfolio data, counterparties, markets, and financial statements.
• Identify trends and draw conclusions from data and information.
• Present position to management and external stakeholders to mitigate risk.
