Job summary

NRP Group is expanding its LIHTC community in Mesquite, TX. The Leasing Specialist will drive occupancy by generating qualified traffic, showing apartments, and processing applications, while upholding LIHTC compliance and Fair Housing guidelines.

You will coordinate move-ins, collect fees, and maintain accurate files in Yardi. Under the Community Manager, you’ll execute on-site marketing plans, build community relations, and provide exceptional customer service to residents and prospects alike.

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service or sales experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in MS Office.
• Knowledge of LIHTC regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct leasing activities at the property, respond to inquiries, give tours.
• Process applications, collect deposits and rents, and coordinate move-ins.
• Maintain files and leasing area organized and compliant with Fair Housing.
• Develop and monitor on-site marketing activity and community referrals.
• Assist with renewals, notices, and inventory as needed.
• Support community events and ensure high-quality resident service.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

College preferred

Tax Credit Specialist accreditation preferred
