Job summary

The NRP Group is seeking a Leasing Specialist for The Fielder, a BRAND NEW LIHTC community in Mesquite, TX. You will maximize occupancy by generating qualified traffic, conducting tours, and coordinating move-ins, while maintaining high service standards and compliance with LIHTC guidelines.

Under the Community Manager, you will develop marketing strategies, engage the local community, and ensure accurate processing of applications and fees.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; college preferred; Tax Credit Specialist (TCS) accreditation preferred.
• Experience: 1-year customer service or sales experience (or relevant education).
• Technical Skills: Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office; Yardi experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct all leasing activities at the property, respond to telephone inquiries, provide tours of apartments and amenities, follow up with prospects, and coordinate all move-ins.
• Perform telephone market surveys and physical shops of competitors.
• Develop and monitor merchant/neighborhood referral programs for move-in packets, newsletters, and resident retention.
• Initiate sales outreach plans including new development, community management, and communications.
• Maintain closing ratios in line with company policies and procedures.
• Inspect market-ready units and models and ensure show-ready condition.
