Job summary

Pathways Asset Management, Inc. (PAMI) seeks a Compliance Analyst in Austin to support LIHTC and PBRA program audits and training. You will review electronic and paper resident files, generate audit reports, and help implement process improvements with compliance staff.

The role requires an associate degree with 1–2 years in housing compliance, familiarity with HUD/IRS rules, and experience using Laserfiche, Monday.com, and Yardi Voyager. A hybrid work schedule is available.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from a college or university, and one to two years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Related experience must be working in compliance in the low-income housing industry, including, but not limited to project-based section 8 housing, or housing funded by LIHTC.

Responsibilities

• Audit and monitor compliance of LIHTC and PBRA programs.
• Conduct monthly file audits in Laserfiche and paper records at property offices.
• Generate detailed monthly audit reports and manage corrections via Monday.com.
• Perform targeted audits when risks are identified.
• Analyze audit data to identify non-compliance trends and refine procedures.
• Collaborate to update SOPs and processing guides.
• Provide training to property management staff.
• Maintain the EIV Master File for half of the portfolio.
• Develop regulatory expertise on HUD, IRS, and state regulations.
