Job summary

Austin Housing Authority invites a Compliance Analyst to implement and monitor audits for LIHTC and PBRA programs. You will review electronic and paper resident files, compile reports, and train staff to ensure HUD/IRS compliance. The role includes maintaining EIV Master files and supporting process improvements across PAMI portfolios.

Qualified candidates have an associate degree and 1–2 years in housing compliance, with COS, TCS, HCCP certifications preferred within set timelines.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree plus 1–2 years in compliance in affordable housing or LIHTC.
• Strong knowledge of HUD, IRS, and LIHTC regulations.
• Ability to generate detailed audit reports under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct monthly audits of electronic resident records and paper LIHTC files for compliance.
• Generate audit reports and manage end-to-end correction via project boards.
• Provide training and feedback to property staff on audit findings.
• Maintain EIV Master file for half of the PAMI portfolio; support process improvements.
