Job summary

Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Compliance Manager to oversee LIHTC and HUD regulatory requirements across our portfolio. The role partners with on-site and corporate teams to maintain accurate certifications, complete audits, and implement compliant processes.

Travel may be required; you will train staff, review data in compliance systems, and liaise with Local Housing Authorities. Candidates should have 1–2 years of LIHTC or Section 42 experience, strong attention to

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of on-site or compliance experience processing LIHTC (Section 42) paperwork.
• Experience with HUD, Section 8, 202 and/or 811 programs.
• Knowledge of LIHTC certification paperwork.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff, properties, and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Work with on-site and corporate staff to ensure regulatory housing program compliance.
• Travel as required based on business needs.
• Perform audits and implement compliant solutions.
• Provide admin support including data entry into compliance systems and file maintenance.
• Conduct ongoing training for LIHTC, Fair Housing, and other compliance procedures.
• Process commissions for move-ins and recertifications.
• Communicate with Local Housing Authority and State Agencies regarding audits and compliance.
• Assist with Mass Recertifications, Re-syndication, Lease-ups, and Acquisitions.
• Review property management data for accuracy in systems.
• Ensure appropriate 60/50% Tax Credit, Bond, and RDA units per property.
• Follow up on Utility Allowances and income/rent limits.
