Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Compliance Manager to ensure LIHTC/HUD compliance across properties. You will work with on-site and corporate teams, oversee audits, and implement corrective actions.

The role requires travel, strong attention to detail, and ability to train on-site staff in LIHTC, fair housing, and related procedures. A solid track record in affordable housing programs is essential.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years LIHTC cert paperwork experience.
• Experience with HUD, Section 8, 202 and/or 811 programs.
• Knowledge of LIHTC certification paperwork.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication with employees, properties and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with on-site and corporate staff to ensure LIHTC/HUD compliance.
• Travel based on business needs.
• Perform audits and implement corrective actions.
• Provide admin support, including data entry into compliance systems.
• Deliver ongoing training for on-site staff on LIHTC, Fair housing, and related procedures.
• Process move-ins and re-certifications commissions.
• Communicate with Local Housing Authority and State Agency staff regarding compliance and audits.
• Assist in Mass Recertifications/Re-syndication/Lease ups/Acquisitions.
• Review property management software data for accuracy.
• Ensure proper unit mix of 60/50% Tax Credit, Bond, and RDA per property.
• Follow up Utility Allowances and income/rent limits with county/city.
